TIC4.0 new publication – Release 2026.020 available
Dear TIC4.0 Community:
The publication TIC4.0 2026.020 presents new developments across several areas of TIC4.0 standardisation: the publication of a Technical White Paper on PAS 4000, providing practical guidance on how the standard is applied within TIC4.0 and clarifying the relationship between the semantic model, ontology, message structure, identifiers and implementation rules; further developments within TF Automation, including the TIC4.0/ISA-95 interface framework for scalable and interoperable terminal automation; new Yard Inventory definitions for Reservation, Reserved and Terminal; and a new Health white paper addressing the impact of tyres and tyre condition on port operations, maintenance, safety and equipment performance.
The release also includes two new Carrier Visit publications analysing the alignment of the TIC4.0 Carrier Visit model with existing industry standards and its interoperability with the IMO Compendium; updates from the European projects MISSION and SEAMLESS, covering developments in port call optimisation, shared semantics, Just-in-Time data models and autonomous waterborne logistics; and an updated TIC4.0 Glossary, incorporating new and revised terminology introduced as part of Release 2026.020.
You can download the publication by filling out the form located in the “Standards” section of our website.
